Multi-piece construction, silver gilt and enamels, Monetny Dvor mint marked and number hand engraved "1444" on the reverse, 47 mm x 47.8 mm, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided aluminum suspension with pinback, intact enamels, light contact on the reverse, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, embossed Union of Soviet Socialist Republics coat-of-arms on the lid, insert pocket on the inside lid, case also extremely fine. (C:17)
