In its circular case of issue, emboss stamped "U.S.A. COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF THE VICTORY 1919" in gold ink over its original French embossed stamping of a rooster and "MEDAILLE COMMEMORATIVE DE LA VICTOIRE 1919" on the lid, marked on the inside lid of the base "BOITE BREVETEE S.G.D.G.", light contact and surface wear, case near extremely fine.
