A First War Royal Horse Artillery Commemorative Medal in Case

Bronze, obverse illustrating the Royal Artillery insignia, reverse inscribed "CAMPAIGN 1914-1915" in the centre, surrounded by the inscription "FROM CAPT. J.L.C. WHITE, R.H.A.", 38.5 mm, oxidation spot on the reverse, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, maker marked "ELKINGTON & Co. Ltd." on the inside lid, purple velvet recessed medal bed, scuffed exterior, wear in the fabric overlaying the hinge, case fine.
