A German Mother's Cross; Gold Grade with Case

Two-piece construction, bronze with a gold-coloured gilt and enamels, 35.3 mm x 42.8 mm, on full-length ribbon, intact enamels, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, gilt Mother's Cross on the lid, maker marked "Alois Rettenmaier Schwäb. Gmünd." on the inside lid, scuffing and wear on the exterior, case near very fine.
