A Spanish Military Merit Medal with Case

In silver, 43mm, solid construction, very well detailed, circa 1938 period issue, with nice old patina, in very fine condition; in case of issue (case is scuffed, soiled, reverse portion detached, thus in good/fair condition). Footnote; the ribbon is of newer manufacture, as a result of the veteran’s often wearing the medal, and thus keep replacing ribbon with new ones. This medal was not prohibited for wear as was a case in Germany for instance.
