Buckle in fire gilded tombac, 48mm, of heavy, excellent construction, Assmann marked and dated “1935” on reverse, in virtually mint condition (illustrated on p. 401 of Angolia’s book.). With brocade dress belt, 45mm wide, constructed of silvery trees, with interwoven threads in black and red, running all the way across, and backed by dark green wool backing; leather tongue stitched to belt on the left side, unmarked, pf top overall quality, and in extremely fine condition, hardly worn. A scarce set in top condition.
