A Volunteer Labor Service (Freiwillige Arbeitsdienst - FAD) Belt Buckle

Buckle in die stamped brass, plain field, with motto “Der Arbeit die Ehre” (Honor to Labor”, faceplate affixed to plain field, 63mm x 47mm, unmarked, in extremely fine condition; see similar buckle on p. 398 of Angolia’s book. Scarce type of FAD buckle.
