In gilt brass with a silvered bronze and enamelled insignia affixed in the centre, unmarked, the face plate of the buckle measuring 45 mm x 62.5 mm, upper of the belt in black rayon with 13 mm wide strips of ornate gold-coloured bullion wire sewn on either side and travelling the length of the belt, black patent leather backer, rectangular loop at the termination point of the belt where it wraps around and finishes on the reverse, two sliders on the belt with matching gold-coloured bullion wire uppers and black patent leather backers, the belt measuring 42 mm x 126 cm; overall very fine. This particular belt and buckle is illustrated on page 593 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
