Early, in silvered tombac with deep toning, marked RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and maker marked "M4/22" (Christian Theodor Dicke) on reverse, measuring 50.5 mm, fine example, near extremely fine. A similar buckle is illustrated on pages 281-282 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
