Fabricated from a thick leather with a smooth finished black upper, raw underside, smooth finished black leather tab stitched in place on the underside at the right end, the tab with seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment, hand inscribed in red ink "Bernd Kirschner" with a faded maker's mark, size mark and production mark beside the name of the wearer on the underside of the belt behind the tab, magnetic receiving clip on the left end, without buckle, the belt measuring 43 mm x 78.5 cm. The receiving clip exhibits surface wear, light wear and crazing evident on the belt from active use. Better than very fine.

Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
