Two-prong open-claw buckle in gilt feinzink with a pebbled upper on the right end, marked "D.R.G.M." (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster) on the reverse, the buckle measuring 53.5 mm x 78.5 mm. Belt is fabricated from a very thick leather with a smooth finished brown upper, raw underside, seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment on the left end, belt with one slider and measuring 57 mm x 102 cm. The buckle exhibits scattered gilt wear, with light contact and soiling evident on the belt from active use. Better than very fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 50 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
