A Political Leader's Belt Buckle with RZM Tag by Dominik Schönbaumfelds

1939 Pattern; In cast gilt zinc alloy, measuring 47.5 mm x 75.3 mm, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and maker marked "M5/301" (Dominik Schönbaumfelds Sohn, Wien) on the reverse, with paper tag printed in black ink and stapled to the belt loop, marked with the RZM insignia, inscribed "Zweidornschnalle nach Vorschrift der Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP" marked "C" and numbered "No 416516", mint.

Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
