Base fabricated from a smooth finished black leather, the raw textured underside also in black, arrowhead-shaped at one end with an off-shoot panel housing a matching leather patch stitched in place at the far end, the patch housing two items: a magnetic metal loop at the far end for placement upon a belt, the other end facing the arrowhead-shaped base with a nickel-plated metal bracket, the bracket with a spring-loaded clip and easily flips off to reveal the mark "1", with "GES. and "GESCH." (Gesetzlich Geschützt) flanking the RADJ inverted triangle insignia, approximately 150 mm x 150 mm, exhibiting light contact on the bracket, leather has hardened but remains intact, near extremely fine.
