high relief bust (Dr. W. G. Grant, A.F.F.) impressed naming, good very fine.William Gordon Grant was born in Inveraven, Banffshire, Scotland, on 15 May 1873. He graduated in Medicine at Aberdeen University, M.B., 1895; M.D., 1898, and was a George Thomson Fellow, 1895-97. Latterly served as a Doctor with the Ashanti Field Force.
