Buckle in steel, with black paint finish, unmarked, with leather tab, marked “Dransfeld & Co., Menden 7 W 1940”; in worn condition. These type of buckles are generally associated with Legion Condor, but some other units wore these type of plain/neutral buckles as well. The date of production indicates it was made well after the Spanish Civil War, although the leather tab may have been attached at the later date.
