Single prong open-claw buckle in silvered nickel on the left end, magnetic, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M5/71" (Overhoff & Cie., Lüdenscheid) on the reverse, the buckle measuring 42.3 mm x 51 mm. Belt in a thin leather with a smooth finished dark brown upper, raw underside, single row of ten holes for length adjustment, the belt wraps around the buckle and matching slider which are held firmly in place via two rivets, the belt measuring 36 mm x 1,005 mm. Light contact on the buckle, the belt exhibiting crazing on the upper from active use and remains very supple. Near extremely fine.
