A Rare DRL Sport Organization Leader’s Badge

Badge die struck in nickel-silver, center domed, 49.85mm x 68.58mm, in slightly worn condition, with recipient’s (leader of this Sportverein) name engraved on reverse (Fritz Wirriger), and engraved date “1938”; a nice sports badge of this local sport club, in extremely fine condition and rare. Footnote: Top eagle is of the DRL (Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen); middle Logo is the „FFFF“ = Frisch-Fromm-Froh-Frei (this sport organization was incorporated into the DRL); TUS Kevelaer = Turn- und Sportverein - of the city Kevelaer (town North of Düsseldorf)
