An HJ Belt Buckle by Overhoff & Cie with RZM Control Tag

In stamped silvered steel, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M4/27" (Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid) on the reverse, with paper tag printed in light blue ink and glued to the reverse, marked with a large "C", the RZM insignia, "Hersteller:" (Manufacturer), marked "A4", maker marked with the "M4/27" stamp, inscribed "Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP" marked "B" and numbered "No 204883", measuring 47.7 mm x 64.3 mm, near mint.

Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
