Strap is fabricated from a thick leather with a smooth finished black upper, raw underside, one end wrapped around and stitched in place on the reverse, the other end folded over and looped around the magnetic pebbled metal buckle, magnetic blackened pebbled metal clips on either end, each of the clips maker marked with the "OLC" (Overhoff & Cie, Ludenscheid) insignia on their reverses and attached to magnetic silvered metal D-rings, each of the D-rings with short leather looped straps with smooth finished black uppers stitched in place, the strap measuring 20 mm x 995 mm. Light contact on the clips, light crazing on the upper. Extremely fine.

Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
