Belt is fabricated from a thick leather with a smooth finished black upper and a smooth finished brown underside, magnetic silvered metal receiving clip on the left end, a tab with a smooth finished brown upper stitched in place on the underside of the belt, the tab with seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment, emboss stamped "93" on the underside of the belt near the termination point of the tab, emboss stamped "15.I.R." (15th Infantry Regiment) on the underside of the belt near the right end, additional narrower non-blackened upper wraps around to the reverse at the right end and extends a further 80 mm, with the maker's emboss stamp "KERN KLAGER & Co NEU-ULM", the belt without sliders and measuring 43 mm x 925 mm. Very light contact on the receiving clip and the upper. Extremely fine. Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
