(DAF = Deutsche Arbeitsfront): In stamped aluminum, painted field grey, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M4/24" (Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid) on the reverse, with paper tag printed in red ink and stapled to the prong bar, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and the German Labour Front insignias, inscribed "Werkschar-Koppelschloss", stamped in black ink "M4/24" and number stamped in black ink "Nr. 381632" and marked "A", measuring 48 mm x 64 mm, near mint.

Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
