British War and Victory Medals (1250065 GNR. C. WOOD. C.F.A.). Naming is officially impressed. Crisp detail, nice dark patina on BWM. Accompanied by two bakelite dog tags on string, stamped 1250065 GRC OOD P CDN. Very fine. Footnote: Clarence Wood was born in Udny, Aberdeenshire, Scotland on September 29, 1888. He signed his Attestation Paper at the 76th Depot, Battery C.F.A. in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on July 25, 1916 and listed his trade as Motorman. He had had one year previous military experience as a member of the C.A.S. Corps, Home Defence.
