Five First War German Imperial Airmen Postcards

The first postcard illustrates Lieutenant Göttsch, inscribed "Unser erfolgreicher Kampf-Flieger / Leutnant Göttsch" below and "613 Postkartenvertrieb W. Sanke" at the lower left, 86 mm x 131 mm. The second postcard illustrates Captain Boelcke, inscribed "Fliegerhauptmann Boelcke" at the upper left and "J. Müller, Kgl Hofphot. Dessau" at the lower right, 84 mm x 137 mm. The third postcard illustrates Captain Boelcke, inscribed "Flieger-Hauptmann Boelcke gef. am 28. Oktober 1916" and "Aufnahme der Neuen Photographischen Gesellschaft, A.-G., Berlin=Steglitz" below, 90 mm x 140 mm. The fourth postcard illustrates twelve airmen including Wintgens, Boelcke, Immelmann, Mulzer, Buddecke, von Cossel with Windisch, von Althaus, Höhndorf, Parschau, Berthold and Frankl, inscribed "Unsere Flieger-Helden" below, "W. Sanke Berlin, N. 37." at the lower left and numbered "408" at the lower right, 87 mm x 137 mm. The fifth postcard is an artist's conception asking for war donations, illustrating an airmen beside his plane, inscribed "Und Ihr?" at the upper left and "Zeichnet Kriegsanleihe" below, 90 mm x 141 mm. Three are black and white, two are sepia-toned, on card stock, each with postcard backers, unaddressed, ranging from fine to extremely fine.
