A German Youth Order (Jungdeutscher Orden) Belt Buckle; Published Example

In stamped brass with brass face plate affixed by two rivets, unmarked reverse, measuring 51 mm x 65 mm, extremely fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 384 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection. The German Youth Order (Jungdeutscher Orden) was the youth element of the Stahlhelm. Members transitioned to the Stahlhelm at the age of 20.
