(DAF = Deutsche Arbeitsfront): In stamped silvered aluminum, reverse marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M/4/27" (Overhoff & Cie, Ludenscheid) on the reverse, with paper tag printed in brown ink and stapled to the belt loop, marked with a large RZM insignia, inscribed "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei Reichszeugmeisterei" and "Für den Verkauf freigegeben", overprinted in blue ink "Werkschar Koppelschloss" and with a asterisk and the number "770109" printed in black ink, measuring 47.7 mm x 62.5 mm, near mint. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 337 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
