A Bavarian Military House Order of St.George; Grand Cross by Eduard Quellhorst

In silver, silver gilt, and enamels, 83mm (width) x 86mm(height), manufactured by the official maker of this insignia Eduard Quellhorst, München (marked on the reverse center); circa 1850-60 period manufacture, of fine quality manufacture, excellent enamel quality, silver tip on right arm broken off/missing, slight enamel chipping on left and upper arm, nearly very fine condition and very rare.
