In stamped silvered steel, maker marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M4/42" (Hermann Aurich, Dresden) inside the HJ diamond insignia on the reverse, white paper label glued in place on the reverse, the label printed in light blue ink with a large RZM insignia beside a large "C", marked "Hersteller" (Manufacturer) and "A4" above "Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP." marked "B" and numbered "No 290579", measuring 48.5 mm x 64.5 mm, unworn, better than very fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 275 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
