An Army Afrika Korps Belt with Buckle 1941

Buckle is die-stamped steel, magnetic, unmarked, embossed Wehrmacht eagle with motto "Gott Mit Uns" (God With Us), painted with a light olive finish, 48.3 mm x 64.3 mm, light contact, replacement prongs, better than very fine. Leather buckle tab stitched in place, embossed stamped with the code "17/G" and dated "1941" on the finished side and "50" in black ink on the underside, 33.5 mm x 210 mm; and full length webbed belt, stamped in black ink on the underside beside the magnetic steel clip on the left side, the stamping having faded with time, 45 mm x 835 mm. Quality, reinforced stitching on both, leather buckle tab exhibits soiling and wear, 25 mm long area of edge wear evident along the top edge of the webbed belt, better than very fine.
