A 1939 Pattern Political Leader's Belt Buckle by Wilhelm Deumer with Control Tag

In gilt aluminum, maker marked "M4/72" (Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid) on the reverse, with paper tag printed in brown ink and stapled to the belt loop, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and NSDAP insignias, inscribed "Leibriemenschloss für Politische Leiter", "Hersteller" (Manufacturer) and number stamped in black ink "No 053322" and marked "A", measuring 56.5 mm, mint condition.

Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
