An Early Luftwaffe Observer’s Badge by Juncker; “Thin Wreath” Version

Eagle in patinated tombac, a thin wreath in silvered tombac, marked on reverse “C.E. Juncker Berlin SW”, badge weighs 28.5 grams, textbook example by this much sought after maker, with nice old patina, in slightly worn condition, extremely fine. These early “thin wreath” badges are considerably lighter in construction then later version in tombac (later version weighs around 40 grams). A very good example of an early “thin wreath” Observer’s badge by Juncker.
