A WWI Iron Cross Medal Group; Marked Wilhelm Deumer - Prussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 (silver with black paint, non-magnetic, 43.3 mm); Austria: Mobilization Cross (bronze gilt, 35 mm); Hamburg: Hanseaten Cross (silvered bronze with red enamels, 40.2 mm); and Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (bronze gilt on iron, maker marked "W. D." (Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid) with the company's bee insignia between the initials on the reverse, 37.3 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, red enamels intact and gilt wear evident on the Hanseaten Cross, near extremely fine.
