A high quality buckle in brass fire gilt, unmarked, the buckle measuring 48.5 mm. Belt is fabricated with a fine aluminum wire interlaced with white threading on the upper, the outer edges trimmed in two rows of black threading on both sides with six strands of fine aluminum wire down the middle, the belt incorporating a repeating pattern with the SS Runes and oak leaves, the sides and reverse in forest green velvet, dark gray leather tab stitched in place on the underside at the left end, with eight rows of two holes each for length adjustment, emboss stamped "92" on the tip of the tab, the right end of the belt folded over and stitched in place and housing the belt buckle, matching brass fire gilt receiving clip on the left end, two sliders that have matching uppers and reverses to that of the belt but without the Runes and oak leaves, the one slider with an extended tab in forest green velvet, the belt measuring 47 mm x 1,030 mm. The buckle exhibits light contact on its obverse, the belt with very slight undulation on its forest green velvet reverse, displaying light crazing on the leather tab. Better than extremely fine. This particular buckle is illustrated in black and white on page 419 and in colour on page 642 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
