In stamped steel, maker marked "O & C" (Overhoff & Cie, Ludenscheid) and marked "ges. gesch" (Gesetzlich Geschützt) on the reverse, measuring 49.7 mm, lightly worn, extremely fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 438 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
