A 1941 German WHW War Sacrifice Shooting Medal

Winterhilfswerk (WHW = Winter Work) Bronze gilt, obverse illustrating an Army helmet fronted by a upward pointing sword, a target to the right and two oak leaves to the left, inscribed "KREIGS - WHW" above and "OPFERSCHIESSEN" in a ribbon banner and dated "1941" below, reverse with a mix of oak and laurel leaves at the top, the area below remaining blank, 34.5 mm, replacement ring, better than very fine.
