A Yugoslavian Order of Hero by IKOM Zagreb

In bronze gilt, die struck, 44mm(w) x 60mm(h), unmarked but of typical IKOM Zagreb manufacture, circa 1975 period manufacture, unissued, in mint condition. Footnote: this was the highest military decoration of the Yugoslav Socialist Republic, initially produced in gold in the USSR, then eventually made by the IKOM factory in Zagreb; in the 1970-80 period small quantity of the orders were produced in bronze gilt as replacement pieces, or for museum display.
