An American Daughters of Founders & Patriots of America Gold Medal

A solid 14 Karat Gold and enameled star shaped medal, 39.45mm in diameter, with top broch bar, in 14 Kt. Gold and enamels; both the medal and brooch are engraved on reverse: “Margaret I. Fraser 3004”; additionally, bar is stamped “14K J.E.C. & Co.”; in extremely fine condition and very attractive. Footnote: Founded in 1898, The Daughters of Founders and Patriots of organization required its members to have ancestors who arrived in the colonies between 1607 and 1686 and also have an ancestor who aided American independence movement between 1775 and 1784.
