A Croatian Preliminary Award to Heer Leutnant with Signature of Ante Pavelić

Preliminary award document/acknowledgement, for the award of Croatian Small Ante Pavelić Bravery Medal, awarded posthumously to Leutnant Ernst Klein (D.A.B.d. Batl.2.Kp.b.2.Geb.Brig.), for “very brave conduct during the Battle with Partisans/bandits”; dated 22. February 1945, with original signature of Croatian Minister of the Armed Forces Vice-Admiral Nikola Steinfel; and also original ink signature of Leader Ante Pavelić, who led the Ustaše movement and Independent State of Croatia (NDH). This document comes with contemporary 3 copies and another document listing the Klein’s relative where the award was to be sent.
