Accompanied by two Bronze Star award documents, both named to 65/100478 Captain Tran Van Quynh, Army of the Republic of Vietnam, signed by General Creighton W. Abrams, United States Army and Stanley R. Resor, Secretary of the Army: the first awarding him the Bronze Star for Heroism in Ground Combat in the Republic of Vietnam on June 15, 1969, issued on February 21, 1970; the second awarding him the First Oak Leaf Cluster for Heroism in Ground Combat in the Republic of Vietnam on April 22, 1970, issued on November 2, 1970.
