An SS-Gebirgstruppen Cap Edelweiss

This was worn by members of the SS Gebirgstruppen (Mountain Troops), stitched on side of a cap; constructed of black cloth with silver/grey machine embroidered edelweiss with yellow stamen; unworn example, in mint condition.
