(Auxiliary) Royal Canadian Air Force: Atlantic Star; 1939-1945 Star; Defence Medal; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Clasp; War Medal 1939-1945; and Canadian Forces' Decoration, QEII (F/L J.E. GOULET). Naming is officially engraved on the CFD, the other medals are un-named. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, contact marks, residue in the recessed ares from cleaning, very fine. Footnote: Flight Lieutenant J.E. Goulet served with 2452 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron (Auxiliary), Royal Canadian Air Force in Quebec City, Quebec, as a Chief Training Officer. On August 22, 1956, he was one of eight who successfully completed the Fighter Controller Course. At a special parade held in the Drill Hall on the Grande Allee, on April 2, 1957, Brigadier JV Allard, CBE, DSO, ED presented the Canadian Forces' Decoration to Flight Lieutenant Goulet, who along with four others received the award.
