Measuring 402 mm, with the scabbard on, this dagger features a 260 mm nickel-plated steel blade, magnetic, with unsharpened edges, remaining bright and crisp, and having an extremely sharp tip. The blade's reverse ricasso is maker marked Alexander Coppel GmbH (Alcoso), Solingen, with the company's balance of scales insignia. It retains its crossgraining, with faint scratches overall, common to extraction and return to the scabbard, and a natural shine, with scattered surface wear, near mint! The thick black leather washer at the crossguard junction is slightly scuffed but is intact. Crossguard with a finely-detailed Army eagle, a wreathed swastika clenched in its talons, oak leaf design on the ferrule and pommel, very light contact marks on the pommel's end. Light brown-coloured celluolid grip features a series of nine parallel ridges and is free of chipping, the dagger measuring 374 mm in length. The scabbard is nicely pebbled, magnetic, the bands exhibiting the traditional oak leaves design, each with rings, dual screws holding the throat in place, free of dents, the scabbard measuring 285 mm in length.
