Two-piece construction, sterling silver, maker marked "CHRISTIAN" and marked "STER" (Sterling) on the reverse, obverse illustrating the bust of a Canadian soldier over a tank with the date "1942" below, with raised edges on the arms, reverse illustrating the coat-of-arms of Dieppe, France in the centre with multiple emanating rays on the arms, 36.3 mm x 37 mm, clasp inscribed "DIEPPE" on its tri-colour ribbon, light contact, near extremely fine.
