Footnote: Harold Alvin Robinson was born on June 22, 1895 in Essex, Ontario. He was a resident of Essex when he signed his Attestation Paper (2006737) on September 10, 1017, in Windsor, Ontario, at the age of 22, naming his next-of-kin as his mother, Mrs, Annie Robinson of Essex, stating that he had no previous military service, that he was not married and that his trades were that of Cook & Baker. Robinson served as a Sapper with the Canadian Railway Troops and survived the war.
