A German Social Welfare Decoration; First Class by Godet

First Class neck cross, in bronze fire gilt and enamels, 53.37mm(w) x 57.98mm(h), with short length of period neck ribbon with grey colored ties sewn to ribbon- as originally worn by the recipient (probably to match the color of his tunic or shirt); with no chipping to enamels, slightly worn, in extremely fine condition; cross is unmarked, but this is a textbook example manufactured by Godet, Berlin; in typical Godet (red) LDO style case of issue, with blue interior and red exterior; case in extremely fine condition. An excellent high quality example of this scarce award.
