A medal bar mounted a sworn by the Württemberg EM/NCO, comprising: Iron cross 2nd Class 1914, magnetic; Württemberg, Merit Cross with Swords, in silvered bronze, swords in silver gilt, 32mm; Hindenburg Cross with Swords, bronzed; Württemberg, Long Service Decoration (type VI, 1913-1921), for 15 Years, in bronze; Third Reich, Faithfull Service Decoration for 25 Years of Service, silvered and enameled; awards in generally very fine condition, slightly worn medal bar. Footnote: Württemberg Merit Cross with Swords is fairly scarce, being the highest bravery award given to EM/NCO’s by the State of Württemberg during WW1.
