A First War American Victory Medal with Unofficial Verdun Clasp

Detached from period ribbon and broach, very fine. Footnote: There was no official "Verdun" battle clasp for the WW1 victory medal. However, shortly after the war, many insignia manufacturers sold such clasps to veterans at VFW, 40/8, American Legion, Veteran parades, etc.
