Silver, obverse illustrating a left-facing King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, inscribed "CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI & QUEEN ELIZABETH" above and dated "12 MAY 1937" to the right, reverse illustrating five people in various native dress, with outstretched arms and joining hands, surrounding a crowned globe, their backs facing the globe, the names "AFRICA, INDIA, AUSTRALIA, CANADA" radiating from "GREAT BRITAIN" below, engraver marked "SALE BHAM" (Sale, Birmingham), inscribed "UNITED BRITISH EMPIRE" above, 38.3 mm, edge nicks, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, soiled recessed medal bed, light wear on the exterior, case better than very fine.
