Silver gilt with red and light blue enamels, unmarked, 62.5 mm x 80.8 mm, on an original full-length neck ribbon with hook and eye, intact enamels, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked "C.B.E." on the lid, maker marked "GARRARD & Co. Ltd." on the inside lid, soiled recessed medal bed, fraying in the fabric overlaying the hinged area, scuffed exterior, side panel on the base coming away along the top edge, case fair.
