Cord is fabricated from fine gold-coloured aluminum wire wrapped around a central core, divided into four sections: two sections have a cord braided into multiple rows of loops, a thin wire loop attached to the end of the braided sections, the extending ends of the cords wound in a spiral and finished with 122 mm long gold-coloured metal tips, each of the ball caps on the tips with a mesh cap in fine twisted gold-coloured wire, each of the tips bearing the image of a fasces, the third section has a shorter looped cord while the fourth section has a long looped cord, with all four cords joined at six positions within a 22 mm x 43 mm patch of fine gold-coloured aluminum wire, the patch with dual hooks in the centre on the reverse for placement around eye receivers on the shoulder.
