Footnote: Colour Sergeant Robert Bain is shown on the roll of the 373 man 2nd Battalion and is listed on page 60 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866-70" by John Thyen. He is acknowledged has having been in action at the Battle of Ridgeway on June 2, 1866 with the Queen's Own Rifles. (C:14)
